Main Ingredient

1. Active Folic Acid?
– The 4th generation patented folate known as “Methyltetrahydrofolic Acid Glucosamine” with recognized functionality
[Functionality] Essential for cell and blood production
Necessary to maintain normal homocysteine levels in the blood
Required for the normal development of fetal neural tubes.

– Folic acid found in foods such as green vegetables and dairy products is unstable and easily oxidized.
In the body, ingested folate undergoes a metabolic process in the intestines and is converted into the active form, Methyltetrahydrofolic Acid (5-MTHF).
Activated folate travels through the blood to various cells in our bodies to perform its functions.

– Approximately 40% of Koreans have genetic variations in the MTHFR enzyme, responsible for converting folate into the active form (5-MTHF), making it less effective in the conversion of dietary folate into the active form. Therefore, taking a separate supplement of activated folate is effective.

2. Homocysteine?
– Homocysteine, often referred to as the “second cholesterol” in the blood, is an intermediate metabolic product generated when essential amino acids break down in the body.
– It undergoes oxidative processes within the body and, when accumulated, can lead to hyperhomocysteinemia, a condition associated with peripheral vascular diseases, cerebral vascular diseases, and other cardiovascular issues.
– To reduce homocysteine levels in the body, metabolic processes involving vitamin B complex are required. When there is a deficiency in vitamin B6, B12, and other B vitamins, homocysteine accumulates in the body. Thus, adequate intake of vitamin B6 and B12 is recommended.

Selling Point

1) Vitamins for Expectant Mothers and Fetal Health
– Adequate supplementation of folic acid with 800 mcg.
– Folic acid is an essential nutrient for expectant mothers and individuals preparing for pregnancy, as it is required for the normal development of the fetal neural tube.

2) Contains Active Form Folate (Methyltetrahydrofolic Acid Glucosamine), Vitamin B6, and B12.
– Active form folate, along with Vitamin B6 and B12, complements each other’s actions, ensuring stable metabolic processes.
– Vitamin B6: Necessary for maintaining normal homocysteine levels in the blood.
– Vitamin B12: Required for folate metabolism in the body.

3) Contains DHA Powder as a subsidiary ingredient.
– DHA aids in the development of the fetal brain and retinas and promotes immune health.

4) Dr. LYUH ESTHER’s Expert Ingredient Combination
– Dr. LYUH ESTHER: Preventive Medicine Doctor with a specialization in Family Medicine, Seoul Medical School.
