- Manuka honey is honey collected from the flowers of the Manuka tree (Leptospermum scoparium) that grows naturally in New Zealand and Australia.

- The Manuka flower only blooms for 2 to 6 weeks each year, so the honey harvesting period is short, making Manuka honey a highly prized ingredient.
