Main Ingredient |
1. The Importance of Oral Microbes - The oral microbiome is formed by over 700 diverse microbial species and can be influenced by hygiene habits, diet, smoking, stress, and systemic diseases. - These oral microbes can lead to oral infections such as dental caries and periodontal diseases and have recently been associated with systemic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases.
2. Mechanisms of Action of Oral Microbes - The mechanisms of action are considered to be similar to those of probiotics. 1) Regulation of the oral environment through the interaction of metabolites and nutrients, including bacteriocins (natural antibacterial substances), which inhibits the attachment and proliferation of pathogenic bacteria. 2) Inhibition of the colonization and biofilm formation of pathogenic microbial communities, increasing resistance to infections and protecting tooth surfaces. 3) Rapid colonization of the oral cavity, which hinders the establishment of harmful bacteria. - In particular, Lactobacillus species play a crucial role in the oral ecosystem and are relevant to the prevention of oral diseases. - L. fermentum, L. salivarius, and L. reuteri have been reported to prevent dental caries and periodontal disease. - L. rhamnosus MG316 (in-house strain) has been shown to strongly inhibit bacterial plaque formation induced by S. mutans.
3. Causative Bacteria for Periodontitis and Dental Caries - The major causative bacterium of dental plaque is Streptococcus mutans, which attaches to the pellicle on teeth and synthesizes insoluble glucans from sucrose in food, increasing microbial adhesion to the teeth. - Dental caries is a multifactorial disease caused by the interaction of microorganisms within dental plaque and dietary factors. - S. mutans generates organic acids, such as lactic acid, during carbohydrate metabolism, which damages tooth enamel and leads to dental caries.
4. Four Patented and Origin-Derived Probiotics for Dental and Oral Health 1) Probiotic for Preventing or Treating Periodontitis - L. paracasei MG310 (Patent No. 10-2217525) / Derived from fermented food - L. rhamnosus MG316 (Patent No. 10-2217518) / Derived from infants
2) Composition Comprising Lactobacillus reuteri MG505 with Anti-Caries Activity - L. reuteri MG505 (Patent No. 10-2210092) / Derived from breast milk
3) Composition Comprising Lactobacillus salivarius with Anti-Caries Activity - L. salivarius MG242 (Patent No. 10-2230517) / Human-derived (patented probiotic from vaginal origin)

Selling Point |
1) Contains 4 patented oral probiotics - Oral health probiotics holding patents for "prevention or treatment of periodontitis and anti-caries activity" - Featuring probiotics derived from food and the human body
2) Take 2 tablets per day, ensuring 100 million CFU of probiotics to support gut health - Helps promote the growth of probiotics, inhibit harmful bacteria, improve bowel movements, and support gut health.
3) A chewable product that may help improve oral health.
4) Customized ingredient blend - Isomalt, D-sorbitol, Xylitol : These sugar alcohols provide sweetness with very low absorption rates, making them low in calories and not easily utilized by cavity-causing bacteria in the mouth, thus not contributing to tooth decay. : Particularly, xylitol helps reduce plaque, inhibit acid production, suppress the growth of cavity-causing bacteria, prevent dental biofilm formation, and assist in preventing infantile cavities. - Propolis extract: Contains flavonoid compounds with antioxidant properties, which may help with antimicrobial activity in the mouth.
5) Probiotic-specific packaging (new container) - Uses a container with a moisture-absorbing lid and a special packaging designed to minimize moisture permeability.
6) Refreshing peppermint flavor.
7) Includes calcium, a functional ingredient essential for bone and tooth formation, to support dental health.
